The West Africa Cooperatives Network (WACoN), with a heavy heart, expresses its deepest condolences to the families of our fallen compatriots who tragically lost their lives in the recent helicopter crash en route to Obuasi for the launch of the Responsible Cooperative Mining and Skills Development Programme (rCOMSDEP).
We are deeply saddened by the untimely loss of these gallant men who answered the call of national duty with enthusiasm, courage, commitment, and an unwavering spirit of patriotism.
Their selfless sacrifices in service of our nation will forever be etched in the annals of Ghana’s history. They stood for progress, responsibility, and national development, and their legacy shall continue to inspire generations to come.
In these difficult times, we pray that the Almighty will be the source of comfort and strength for the bereaved families. We also ask for eternal rest for our fallen heroes in the bosom of their Maker.
May their souls rest in perfect peace.
